Clearance Definitions

Why an item may be discounted

Dye irregularities

Brass Ammo

The rubber dye may be uneven, swirled, clear in places, or heavier than normal. The cosmetic appearance may differ from standard production.

Irregular shotgun crimp

12, 20 & 410 Gauge

A crimp may be slightly lopsided or sunk in on one side rather than having a clean, flat appearance

Brass Casing Spots

Brass Ammo

Brass may arrive with tarnish, spotting, or other cosmetic marks that keep it from being sold as regular retail stock.

Wrong or missing markings

All Ammunition

Some rounds may be produced without markings or with incorrect markings, wrong colored projectiles. Mixed shotgun packs may contain multiple round types as described on the original page.

Clearance stock changes frequently.

Because blemished ammunition comes from normal manufacturing variation, stock is limited and may not be replenished on a predictable schedule.

Important safety warning: Less-than-lethal ammunition can still be deadly if used. No guarantee is made that the ammunition is non-lethal, and penetration of vulnerable tissue can result in death. Treat all ammunition as live ammunition and keep it securely locked away from children. Rubber ammunition is not a toy, and misuse can result in death.
